When we last left JoJo, she was ready to send Luke home. That is, until he declared his love for her. After some crying and deliberation, JoJo stuck to her original plan and sent Luke home. I would have liked to have seen Luke stay, but only because then I would have accurately predicted the last three standing. My fear now is that he will be The Bachelor, and I don’t know if I can handle a full season of Luke. JoJo seems really happy with her decision though.
In Thailand, Robby had the first date with JoJo. Despite all the rain, they had a nice time getting massages and dinner. Robby told JoJo that he fell even more in love with her when she was meeting his family because he got to see how things could possibly be in the future. I think he is forgetting that a large chunk of his hometown date was spent convincing JoJo that he’s not still in love with his ex. What a beautiful future it could be! Robby gave JoJo a note that his dad wrote him, which probably really put her in the mood for the fantasy suite. Before they chose to forgo their individual rooms, Robby told JoJo that he’s not like Ben. He’s not going to say that he loves her and then leave her. Considering how hung up she still seems to be on that break up, that was the right thing to say to her. They enjoyed their night together, as well as their first breakfast together.
Jordan and JoJo went hiking. I’ll say it again- their relationship seems the most natural. They are always joking with each other and they seem to be on the same wavelength. Just when I was starting to think, “Okay, they are kinda cute together.” JoJo says how hard it will be for her to not kiss Jordan while in a sacred temple. Really, girl? Control yourself. That’s not cute. After talking to Jordan about how his hometown date went, and when he will get to meet her family, JoJo looked for the same confirmation in him that she got from Robby. After telling her that he loved her, she told him “That’s what Ben said.” JoJo, girl. Let it go. It probably stung, but you’ve got a great guy here (Chase) who doesn’t have other roses to hand out. Let it happen! After her night and her breakfast with Jordan, JoJo worried that she was in love with two people.
Chase seemed a bit worried on his date. He was kind of being over-the-top funny and it felt like he was overcompensating. He kissed a dead fish. Maybe don’t do that. He told JoJo that the last rose ceremony stressed him out, and that he doesn’t want her to do that to him anymore because he is committed to this and dove in head first. They had a fun afternoon in the ocean, and they laughed a lot because Chase is hilarious and is a good guy. That’s what I have taken from this week. While they were each getting ready for dinner, Robby stopped by JoJo’s hotel room just to reiterate how much he loves her. JoJo sees it as sweet and loving. I see it as sketchy. To me, it seems more like Robby wants to win something, rather than him wanting to marry JoJo. At dinner, Chase told JoJo that he is 100% in love with her, and she did not feel the way she expected to after hearing that. Instead of giving Chase his key to the fantasy suite, she sent him home. He was not happy about that. He acted like a jerk, which was very disappointing. I think if this is how JoJo felt though, it was better for her to send him home before the fantasy suite.
At the rose ceremony, Robby and Jordan had no idea that Chase had already been sent home. Right after JoJo told them, he came back. This was Chase’s campaign for The Bachelor. He apologized for how he acted, and told JoJo that he was proud of her, impressed with her, admired her, and wanted the best for her. Chase, you beautiful and sweet human being. I want to see more of him, and I’m still not over how awesome his mom was. After his apology, JoJo handed out the two remaining roses to Jordan and Robby.
Tonight is Men Tell All, and I will have a very special blog post about it. Stay tuned!
Who’s Gonna Last? (My predictions, not spoilers.)
So, what do YOU think? Who would you like to see be the next Bachelor? Are you impressed with JoJo’s top two? Who will get the final rose? Should I watch Bachelor In Paradise? Let me know in the comments!
